The Calgary Temple
This post is about the open house and dedication of the Calgary temple. The temple was amazing! There was a room with two mirrors with a reflection that never ends to symbolize eternal life. it also had the baptismal font with the 12 oxen. There was also a room with a spectacular image of the Garden of Eden. The outside was made of pure marble with wheat carved into it. After the trip I felt pure, holy and very jealous. I kept whispering to my mom that the Calgary temple was way better than the one in Edmonton. The dedication was a once in a lifetime experience. it showed people waving white handkerchiefs shouting "Hosana" (I was part of it too and I was watching from my church.) The temple was amazing and I look forward to going there again.

Father of the False
When I was on CNN, something caught my eye. Poaching was once again on the rise in Africa. More people were hunting rhinos and elephants. I told my Grandpa Bob at once, and he said reason people were hunting animals with precious ivory, is because of Aphrodisiacs. He told it was grinded rhino horn that you slip int someones drink and they fall in love with you. Insane huh. Who is the Father of Lies? The one and only The Devil Himself. He spurred that idea to control people. Lies such as that are against commandment 9 'thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.' The Great Apostasy (or I like to call it, the dark ages of the church) is example. When my Church was forgotten. It kept going until the restoration (the renaissance of the church.) every lie and ridiculous thing from phoney medicines, inaccurate documentaries to bad advertising was originated from Satan. No wonder they call him the Father of lies.
The Media Menace
This blog post is about how the media affects us. The media( radio, television, and the Internet.) can be used by both good and evil. For example my church has the Mormon Channel which has peaceful music and helpful messages. And don't forget about general Conference. But at the same time it can be used to poison minds and tell them to do sin For example, in 1939 a man used the book War of the Worlds to tell people that they were invaded by aliens when they don't exist, causing widespread panic and mayhem. Another is Joseph Goebbles of the Nazi propaganda, who told lies about the Jews. And films with alcohol, drugs, nudity, language and smoking puts lives on the line to hell. People performing dangerous stunts on YouTube tempt others to do the same thing. And the reason why I hate cartoons it's because unlike non-fiction, they disorientate and mock the real world. SO be cautious or bad things will happen.

Fashion Infractions
This post is about the issue of immodesty. Clothing has been an important thing in the world and in my church.Back then clothes were growing less bulky and more efficient, in other words swimming suits don't sink you, clothes don't cause overheating and they don't drag around and are not hard to carry. But the thing that ticks me off, it also grew in sinly proportions (e:g bikinis, tang tops, short skirts and shorts and shirts that don't cover the stomach or shoulders.) It also leads to pornography viewing and sexual sin. So here is my advice. Avoid all of that waste of resources time and money and stick to modest clothes.

Careers in life (updated for 2013)
This post is about all the jobs i'm going to do when I get older. They're few of the many jobs I'll have! My first job is at a bowling alley in the the capital. But before that I'll be a restocker at a pharmacy When I arrived there I gave the manager a little interview. But a few minutes later he asked if I want a job at the bowling alley, and believe it or not they hire 14 year olds. So when i'm a teacher in church, I can sign up! (speaking of which I am now.) I think it can be one of my birthday presents My next career is rat patrol. Besides, Albeta is the only place either than the Arctic and Antarctic that has NO rats. And if they infiltrate the province they are quickly exterminated. I was inspired to join Rat Patrol after they successfully counter an whole army of rats! I'll do it after I retire from the bowling alley. My next job is the ice cream shop in Waterton, which is not far from Cameron Lake, and the variety rocks! The reason I wanted to join because I saw a Help Wanted sign. Once I'm done that I going to create 'The Blood Olympics'. What I said about in the last sentence Is a resurrection of the The roman coliseum. I'm sick of criminals on the loose. Picture the World as a computer. And criminals are the junk files and spam of the computer. Which I want to do that to wipe crime from the world. But before that I wanted to create the Manhunters what I call a NGLECO (Non-Government Law Enforcement and Conservation Organization.) And activist group preserving nature and the law. However I gave it up in favour of IMOCC (the International Monitoring Of Communities and Corporations) because it does things more legally; and I'm the judge. Plus I'm sick of corporations getting away with everything. In conclusion I look forward to doing all those things.

Don't Bail on the Whales
I've been watching Whale Wars and soon enough, I became interested in whaling. Whaling, a term for hunting for whales, I think is the most uncivilized, barbaric, gruesome, kind of hunting. Long ago Canada was a big whaling industry, but we quit eventually. Plus in 1986 IWC banned commercial whaling. A lot of other countries stopped commercial whaling. But Iceland, Norway, and Japan didn't. When I was watching whale wars it educated me about the Sea Shephard battles Against Japanese whaling. I think they are doing a great job keeping the seas safe for marine life, it actually inspired me to create a conservation society of my own when I grow up. You can make a difference! Go on strike, draw anti whaling posters, Freedom speeches, freedom marches, protest for crying out loud. The government is influenced by you. So take a stand against something that does not belong in the world today.

Video Game Camp
Before the summer my mom was planning on sending me to a video game designing camp. Day 1:When the day came I went to the Telus World of Science went to the space exhibit and found the room. After I got settled in the instructors showed us a movie how playing games could improve our video game designing. Then we got to design play example games, you know to get us going with the flow. After that we had lunch. Then we got to play capture the flag. I called my self jailbreak because I freed many of my team from jail. After capture the flag we went back. Once there we made character our level and main character. We always ended at 4:00 PM. Day 2:We worked on our enemies and levels. They taught us how to make stuff invisible, and how to die After lunch and more Capture the Flag We visited the Crime Gallery. There we learned about how crimes were solved, the parts of a police car, how to know a criminal when you see one, how maggots solve crimes, and what Johnny Law used (hopefully not on me since I'm a jaywalker!) Day 3: we made traps that would kill the main character lives, health and points. The exhibit we went to was the new Robots gallery. Not only did they show stuff from the movie robots, but also how robots are used today the timeline of robots and a life size model of C-3PO and the robot Gort from The Day the Earth Stood Still. What we also did was see IMAX Hubble, you know that giant orbiting telescope, that takes pictures of space, they show how they repaired and made the telescope and the spectacular pictures of space. Day 4: When I got there we created tiles to make the game more fancier, you know, stone, dirt, spikes and vines. What we did after lunch and Capture the Flag we saw a segment called Fire and Fury. The scientist showed how when you burn toilet paper it leaves no ashes. She also showed how a fine powder can be very flammable. She used chemicals used in fireworks to make amazing display of colours, and spoiled the magic!
Next we went to the environment gallery when I learned about alternative energy, toxic gases and where the come from, soil, wetlands erosion etc. And created lightning and a tornado. Day 5: It was the best day I ever had! I rode on the Segway (the vehicle used in Mall Cop,) Tried out the multi-access trainer (I didn't get sick but all the blood was rushing to my head,) Watched a film about how the Soviets not the Americans won the race to space at the Star Theater. We made the finishing touchers to our game and even loaded the example games on a USB. At the space exhibit I made a alien out of myself, attempted to land Apollo and failed. landed on Mars, controlled a rover, and destroyed earth. My Dad when I got home did not want my game because he said it was bug infested.
