The Current of Chasity
When I was in Hawaii during the around the world trip, I was constantly warned by signs of strong currents, and I knew why. Without warning they can pull a man from the shallow shore to the deepest, unsafe depths of the ocean. We were told keep an eye out for calmer, different colour waters that are the signs of a riptide. Just like the currents, bad choices can pull us away from God's shore and to the deep waters of the devil. The currents that drown us are adultery, homosexual, lesbian and relations outside of marriage. However we can 'swim' out of this riptide by the following. Scripture study, repentance, forgiveness and other ways. And god has set his own signs, the holy ghost to warn us of the threat. So my words are...
read the signs the lord puts up and don't drown to the devil.

The Calgary Temple
This post is about the open house and dedication of the Calgary temple. The temple was amazing! There was a room with two mirrors with a reflection that never ends to symbolize eternal life. it also had the baptismal font with the 12 oxen. There was also a room with a spectacular image of the Garden of Eden. The outside was made of pure marble with wheat carved into it. After the trip I felt pure, holy and very jealous. I kept whispering to my mom that the Calgary temple was way better than the one in Edmonton. The dedication was a once in a lifetime experience. it showed people waving white handkerchiefs shouting "Hosana" (I was part of it too and I was watching from my church.) The temple was amazing and I look forward to going there again.

Father of the False
When I was on CNN, something caught my eye. Poaching was once again on the rise in Africa. More people were hunting rhinos and elephants. I told my Grandpa Bob at once, and he said reason people were hunting animals with precious ivory, is because of Aphrodisiacs. He told it was grinded rhino horn that you slip int someones drink and they fall in love with you. Insane huh. Who is the Father of Lies? The one and only The Devil Himself. He spurred that idea to control people. Lies such as that are against commandment 9 'thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.' The Great Apostasy (or I like to call it, the dark ages of the church) is example. When my Church was forgotten. It kept going until the restoration (the renaissance of the church.) every lie and ridiculous thing from phoney medicines, inaccurate documentaries to bad advertising was originated from Satan. No wonder they call him the Father of lies.
The Media Menace
This blog post is about how the media affects us. The media( radio, television, and the Internet.) can be used by both good and evil. For example my church has the Mormon Channel which has peaceful music and helpful messages. And don't forget about general Conference. But at the same time it can be used to poison minds and tell them to do sin For example, in 1939 a man used the book War of the Worlds to tell people that they were invaded by aliens when they don't exist, causing widespread panic and mayhem. Another is Joseph Goebbles of the Nazi propaganda, who told lies about the Jews. And films with alcohol, drugs, nudity, language and smoking puts lives on the line to hell. People performing dangerous stunts on YouTube tempt others to do the same thing. And the reason why I hate cartoons it's because unlike non-fiction, they disorientate and mock the real world. SO be cautious or bad things will happen.

Fashion Infractions
This post is about the issue of immodesty. Clothing has been an important thing in the world and in my church.Back then clothes were growing less bulky and more efficient, in other words swimming suits don't sink you, clothes don't cause overheating and they don't drag around and are not hard to carry. But the thing that ticks me off, it also grew in sinly proportions (e:g bikinis, tang tops, short skirts and shorts and shirts that don't cover the stomach or shoulders.) It also leads to pornography viewing and sexual sin. So here is my advice. Avoid all of that waste of resources time and money and stick to modest clothes.

Careers in life (updated for 2013)
This post is about all the jobs i'm going to do when I get older. They're few of the many jobs I'll have! My first job is at a bowling alley in the the capital. But before that I'll be a restocker at a pharmacy When I arrived there I gave the manager a little interview. But a few minutes later he asked if I want a job at the bowling alley, and believe it or not they hire 14 year olds. So when i'm a teacher in church, I can sign up! (speaking of which I am now.) I think it can be one of my birthday presents My next career is rat patrol. Besides, Albeta is the only place either than the Arctic and Antarctic that has NO rats. And if they infiltrate the province they are quickly exterminated. I was inspired to join Rat Patrol after they successfully counter an whole army of rats! I'll do it after I retire from the bowling alley. My next job is the ice cream shop in Waterton, which is not far from Cameron Lake, and the variety rocks! The reason I wanted to join because I saw a Help Wanted sign. Once I'm done that I going to create 'The Blood Olympics'. What I said about in the last sentence Is a resurrection of the The roman coliseum. I'm sick of criminals on the loose. Picture the World as a computer. And criminals are the junk files and spam of the computer. Which I want to do that to wipe crime from the world. But before that I wanted to create the Manhunters what I call a NGLECO (Non-Government Law Enforcement and Conservation Organization.) And activist group preserving nature and the law. However I gave it up in favour of IMOCC (the International Monitoring Of Communities and Corporations) because it does things more legally; and I'm the judge. Plus I'm sick of corporations getting away with everything. In conclusion I look forward to doing all those things.

Don't Bail on the Whales
I've been watching Whale Wars and soon enough, I became interested in whaling. Whaling, a term for hunting for whales, I think is the most uncivilized, barbaric, gruesome, kind of hunting. Long ago Canada was a big whaling industry, but we quit eventually. Plus in 1986 IWC banned commercial whaling. A lot of other countries stopped commercial whaling. But Iceland, Norway, and Japan didn't. When I was watching whale wars it educated me about the Sea Shephard battles Against Japanese whaling. I think they are doing a great job keeping the seas safe for marine life, it actually inspired me to create a conservation society of my own when I grow up. You can make a difference! Go on strike, draw anti whaling posters, Freedom speeches, freedom marches, protest for crying out loud. The government is influenced by you. So take a stand against something that does not belong in the world today.

Video Game Camp
Before the summer my mom was planning on sending me to a video game designing camp. Day 1:When the day came I went to the Telus World of Science went to the space exhibit and found the room. After I got settled in the instructors showed us a movie how playing games could improve our video game designing. Then we got to design play example games, you know to get us going with the flow. After that we had lunch. Then we got to play capture the flag. I called my self jailbreak because I freed many of my team from jail. After capture the flag we went back. Once there we made character our level and main character. We always ended at 4:00 PM. Day 2:We worked on our enemies and levels. They taught us how to make stuff invisible, and how to die After lunch and more Capture the Flag We visited the Crime Gallery. There we learned about how crimes were solved, the parts of a police car, how to know a criminal when you see one, how maggots solve crimes, and what Johnny Law used (hopefully not on me since I'm a jaywalker!) Day 3: we made traps that would kill the main character lives, health and points. The exhibit we went to was the new Robots gallery. Not only did they show stuff from the movie robots, but also how robots are used today the timeline of robots and a life size model of C-3PO and the robot Gort from The Day the Earth Stood Still. What we also did was see IMAX Hubble, you know that giant orbiting telescope, that takes pictures of space, they show how they repaired and made the telescope and the spectacular pictures of space. Day 4: When I got there we created tiles to make the game more fancier, you know, stone, dirt, spikes and vines. What we did after lunch and Capture the Flag we saw a segment called Fire and Fury. The scientist showed how when you burn toilet paper it leaves no ashes. She also showed how a fine powder can be very flammable. She used chemicals used in fireworks to make amazing display of colours, and spoiled the magic!
Next we went to the environment gallery when I learned about alternative energy, toxic gases and where the come from, soil, wetlands erosion etc. And created lightning and a tornado. Day 5: It was the best day I ever had! I rode on the Segway (the vehicle used in Mall Cop,) Tried out the multi-access trainer (I didn't get sick but all the blood was rushing to my head,) Watched a film about how the Soviets not the Americans won the race to space at the Star Theater. We made the finishing touchers to our game and even loaded the example games on a USB. At the space exhibit I made a alien out of myself, attempted to land Apollo and failed. landed on Mars, controlled a rover, and destroyed earth. My Dad when I got home did not want my game because he said it was bug infested.

In the Ol' Wild Boreal Forest 2
This post is about my trip to Barrhead. The reason why Barrhead is one of my top vacation spots, is because it has, like Southern Alberta, a wide variety of unique animals. There are not just Farm animals, but there are Porcupine, frogs, water skimmers, bats, fish (in thunder lake) moose and my favourite invertebrate, leeches! Plus it's isolated in the middle of a forest.
A couple of weeks ago we went to Barrhead to visit my Grandma and Grandpa Shipley. When we arrived we hung out, had dinner, and I tried out new apps the Skylanders Cloud Patrol and Minecraft: Pocket Edition. And I was planning on watching Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. After we hung out, we had a nice quiet sleep, away from all the cars and noise of the city. The next day was a fresh start. I tried my new apps, ate breakfast, and got ready for the quads! A few days before the trip my dad took me out to get Quad gloves at the store, because my dad got a thorn in his knuckle. After we started it up, we drove around the woods, in the field and near the stream. My brother and mom were searching for pond life, and at one point saw a ginormous tadpole and a frog. We were also driving through mud and puddles, but it smelled like cow manure.
After that I went inside to watch The Empire Strikes Back. After that I played on the trampoline ate dinner which was awesome. We got to roast hotdogs and marshmallows over a fire and after that we left for home.
I love visiting Barrhead and I can't wait to go this weekend!

Down to the prairie beta
The day the time we were going to Magrath had come. Mom had packed our stuff and we were ready to go. Before we left I claimed to have saw a coyote, but my annoying siblings didn't believe me. After that we were off, and several cramped miles later we arrived in Nanton. First, we went to Subway, which by the way is a great restaurant. First you pick your own toppings, next the food is delicious and nutritious. After that we went to the candy shop. They got gum, Snickers, Reese, mints, licorice and a nearby antique store where my brother bought a dagger and a toy pistol with an unusually large bayonet. After travelling through Fort Macleod, Lethbridge etc. We finally reached Grandma Bonny's house. After that we got settled down and I played some Wii. After dinner we got ready for bed. The next day was a late start. My mom was planning on going to Cardston so that was what we did. In Cardston they have a temple where my parents got married and where my all five of my great grandparents live (The sixth died.) I'm lucky I have relatives that live this long to know me! Anyway we took Grandpa Harold out for DQ which by the way has nice onion rings. After that we said Good-bye and left. I'll tell you one story one of our previous trip to the south. One time we were driving down and I saw smoke on the horizon, I thought "oh maybe a there is a BBQ" but as I got closer I not a BBQ it was a fire. You might think it's a camp fire but you're just dead wrong. It was Granary Fire!! Due to dry wood and relentless heat it turned into a tinderbox, thankfully no one was hurt. When we arrived we did the usual, then got settled for the night. The next day my brother Grayson was excited because my cousins Isaac and Caleb were coming over tonight. Anyway we went to Grandpa Lyman and Grandma Joyce's place. We got settled down and talked with each other. Did you know a man in Lyman's family participated in World War Two, but died in the Italian Campaign. After we went home, we visited Grandpa Bob's sister Cathy. Her house is amazing! She has a spoon collection, a fireplace, a treehouse, a Windows 7 computer and other unique stuff. She also lives near a dam. then later that evening we went back to Grandma Bonnies's home. The next day the me and my cousins woke up to go to Waterton. When we got there it was snowing! Cameron Falls was frozen and I went down to the stream. And discovered something amazing! even though I'm skinny, I can still take down a 100 pound Grayson. We went to the lake and threw some rocks. We also saw deer while we were in Waterton. After that we went down to Twin Butt. You know that store and restaurant? That's where we went. They have really nice food. Even though they sell beer (see Alcohol: Drink or Deathbringner for details.) After that we enjoyed our last day in paradise (I think) 'cause the next day we were going home.
Considering conference
This blogpost is about what I learned during General Conference. First I learned about judgement of others. Dieter F. Uchtdorf taught me that if I was judging others, I had to stop! I have to respect others no matter what. Next was about forgiveness. The prophets said I have a right to forgive all men. So the quote I said at pearl harbor at the memorial "I'll never forgive the bastards who bombed this ship". I actually regret it once I heard it. May I mention the choir sang beautifully. And mom was sad that some people were being released. The church news after it said the was going to be the first French temple, in the city of lice er sorry lights. We had the priesthood session. And I remember every speaker. Adrià n Ochoa, Richard C. Edgly, David A. Bednar, Thomas S. Monson, Dieter F. Uchtdorf and Henry B. Eyring. I'm glad they guide us like living Liahonas.

Alcohol: Drink or Deathbringer (updated)
Drink. One of the needs and wants of the past, pressent and future. Can be plain and flavored in anyway. But of all the drinks in the world, there is one you should avoid. Alcohol! Whether it's wine or beer, shots or cocktails. Whether the company is Coors Light, Budweiser, Molson Canadian, Bud Light First of all it dulls your senses, so you feel all drowsy, second it tears apart families, third your all energetic after you drink it then your body crashes, next its behind many vehicle accidents which kill a lot of people, drink it too much it could kill you. It makes me want to punch the guys that make them in the face. And if you think I'm joking, try it, 'cause it will make your life miserable. word of wisdom FORBIDS consumption. But there is a bright side. It's used for cleansing of the body! NOT the satisfaction of the tongue. o here's my advice if you had a choice of drinking a DROP of alcohol or being beheaded by a guillotine. Choose beheading! You'll like it way better than Alcohol: the most dreaded drink. Plus in Edmonton, there are more beer advertisements now than there were in May 2012, it was in 80% of all the ads I saw at Cineplex! And besides who would want to drink all that radioactive liquid they call a drink (more like a poison.)

Pornography: Pictures or Poison
Pictures. They can build cities, and they could level them. It could help, and it could hurt. It can benefit good and evil. It could inspire, and discourage. But there is one kind that you MUST avoid. Pornography. It targets young and old. Religious and non-religious. Male and female. It appears in movies magazines, posters etc. But the most common place is the internet. 376 people type in mature search engines a second and one pornographic video is made every half an hour! It makes fun of the human body and does not take it seriously. It tears apart families amd breaks relationships. No offense ladies but it's girls that appear mostly in pornography. Here's my advice. If you had a choice just viewing one inappropriate picture or going to prison, CHOOSE PRISON. You'll enjoy it way better than some dumb photograph!

The Tabacco Torment
In this post, I am teaching you about the dangers of Tobacco. You see a lot of people do it today, whenever it's smoking or chewing. The side effects are nasty. It contains 2000 chemicals, 40 of which cause Cancer! It could lead to coughing, wheezing, yellow teeth, stomach cramps and other diseases. It can lead to death as well. The ingredients are Tar, rat poison tobacco, nicotine, window cleaner, arsenic, toilet cleaner, mirror coating, many flavors, sugar and battery acid. Chewing Tabacco gives you an upset stomach. Not to mention it's a violation of the Word of Wisdom because Joseph Smith received revelation of it long before science knew the dangers. But believe it or not there is a bright side. Unlike the people of today, aboriginals used it as a medicine and for healing cattle. It isn't that bad that way and the word of wisdom allows that kind of use. And the people who make them they are like murderers. Just because the movie stars do it does NOT mean YOU should.

Scout Camp 2
Sorry about the delay, anyway this is a post about My latest scout camp. Before I left my mother packed my stuff and drove me over to Brother Easthopes' house. There I met Bradley Pireson and headed to Camp Warwa. In fact where I was, If you go north for half an hour, you will reach my Grandpa and Grandma Shipley's house which I will be visiting during Teacher's Convention and the weekend. Once I got there I had dinner (which was chili) played tetherball had a fireside and played 'find the deacons.' me and Brad chose a hiding spot and lied completely still. When I made a run for it, a flashlight spotted me, but the guy holding it didn't. Whenever I was standing motionless when the light passed over me I wasn't spotted, but I was caught anyway. Before bedtime we slept in cabins that was loaded with bunk beds bunk beds. But before bed, my roommate Bradley told me about CARNIVOROUS SQUIRRELS!!!!! They gnaw through the roof and kill you! Then they burrow through your muscles and eat your organs, skin, buff and all! I couldn't sleep for 2 hours! But I pulled out Preach My Gospel and reading it drived it out of my mind. The next morning was a rude awakening. I was waken up at 7:30 (the time I usually wake up for school) and if I didn't, they throw me in the lake! So I got up, changed into my clothes and went for breakfast. After that was the fun and games! First we did fire starting . We got some dead grass, dry leaves and wood then we model fires (with matches). Then we did cross country skiing, which is nothing like ordinary skiing. You do it on flat land. There was some downhill action but the terrain wasn't pleasent. I had a few falls on sticks and bumpy terrain but I had fun. Then was the vertical playground, where you climb wood, tires, ladders etc. after that we sang songs then went to bed. Next morning we had breakfast then more activities! First we did dodgeball, whe go on the lake and pelt each other with spheres. I on my team was really good. I was hardly hit until the very end. I was like Samuel the lamanite all the arrows (balls) missed me like God was protecting me with some kind of forcefield. Then we had broomball. We used brooms not hockey sticks to score goals. I was having fun until someone accidently hit me with a broom. It hurt but that was nothing compared to my fractured arm and my seven minor wounds (parody of the seven deadly sins). Much later we had a closing fireside and left for home.
I had a fun time but there is no place like home!
I had a fun time but there is no place like home!

Entertainment to enterpainment
This blog post talks about entertainment and media. Films, Tv shows, Texting, Social Networking, Internet, Websites, blogs, Video chat, e-mail computer and video games, they all seem to make our earth life easier and fun. But there is a dark side to everything especially sin. First of all there is a lot of dangerous stuff on the web, such as computer viruses, worms, spyware, malware, trojans, spam, cyberbullies, people and websites that steal private information and money! Plus there are ads that advertise pornography, alcohol, drugs, smoking and other sins. Plus even though games are fun, they might hold bad content. That is why there are rating systems. And all this stuff might keep us away from, friends, family and church! The mind is really deciving, what may seem harmless and carefree, could be violent and vulgar. My do something called tech time which limits my time on games, computer etc.to 90 min. a day. But when it's saturday she letsme go nuts. Now that I told you about it, why don't you try it?

Teenager Times
Hours before my birthday when we were showing Grandma Bonny our trip to Thailand , it was 11:40 pm, my brother told me that in 20 min it would be Jan. 3rd, my birthday. When it was Midnight, my family gave me an early happy birthday. When I woke up that morning, I was finally a teenager. My goals are to be a good teen and deacon by reading scriptures and praying daily. Later that evening, me and Grandpa Bob bought a cake, my dad ordered Thai food, and mom wrapped my presents. Before we ate, I opened my presents from everyone. They were a book on Chinese Proverbs, an App Store $15 doller gift card, $10 and 77 cents, 3 Nintendo Wii games which were Nicktoons vs. MLB Super Mario Strikers and Lego Harry Potter. I also got three games for my Computer. They were Ages of Empires III, Ages of Empires III Asian Dynasties and Battlefield 1942. But when I got all those nice things I felt kind of bad because there is a lot of people in the world who don't even get those kinds of gifts. So I felt grateful for what I got.
